Hello eveyone!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Virginie, for short; Virgo. Oz et Virgo is the name of this blog. It is a a French pun. It could mean Oz and Virgo (Virginie) or also Dare Virgo.

I am French and I arrived in Australia almost 4 years ago when my husband decided to bring back home is own and very personal souvenir from France.

Back in France I was a National Interpreter Tour Guide, specialised in the Ancient Rome and the Medieval architecture. I had to renounce to my passion and start a new career. I decided to dedicate myself to another passion; languages.

Consequently, I am currently doing a Bachelor in Education to enable me to wok as a French and Italian teacher in Australia.

This blog is an assignment blog where I will have to discuss topics related to e-learning. I find this subject very interesting as well as very challenging.

As a language teacher, located in Australia, I find the tools The Internet give us really useful. I start to have plenty of ideas on how I could use those tools in my class with my future students.

However, I do believe that we have to be very careful with what we see on the Internet and what students learn through the Internet. I believe it is up to us, teachers and future teachers to teach students to use the Internet with caution and always with a critical eye.
